Light blue flames were starting to dance
Homeland rope bridge was lost in the valley
For the first time I sang of romance

I was like a bearing garden of weeds
Once a slave to bold women and potions
No desire for boozing and reels
And forfeiting my life without choosing
All I want is to gaze upon you
To behold swirling golden-brown eyes
Not to hold dear the past nor pursue
You could not leave me for other guys
Gentle step and a graceful sway
If your strong heart held imagination
Like a rogue can love in a daring way
How he knows how to yield to passion
I’d forget the pubs till the end
Let my poetry fade in the bottom
Just to tenderly touch the hand
And your hair with colors of autumn
I would follow you ever at once
Through lands familiar or lands alien
